The curriculum consists of a series of video presentations followed by short quizzes. There is a limited time period to complete the curriculum after you start.

Level 1: 60 Days

All USA Hockey registered officials are required to complete the SafeSport Program. The course must be renewed by the official every two years.

Nevada Amateur Hockey Association (NAHA) requires that all adult on-ice officials, new and returning, (18 and over, or within 30 days of 18th birthday) be screened as a condition to participating in all NAHA and USA Hockey sanctioned programs in Nevada. The screening of adult officials is required regardless of what level of games an official works. Your screening expires every two years on June 1. All officials are required to notify the LVHOA Board when they are on the Compliance List. We are not notified directly by NAHA. Please visit NAHA's website to review instructions on how to Complete the Screening Process.
